Meet the Coach - JIMMY KEMMISThis is my third year as the head coach of the varsity football team. I have been a football coach here at Linfield for the past 7 years at the Middle School, High School JV team and Varsity Special Teams. Prior to that, I coached in Pasadena for five years.

• This year, my main focus is teamwork! I want these guys to truly believe that they are part of something bigger than themselves. I want them to understand the value of putting in hard work and believing that it will payoff under the lights!
• This year’s goals for the team:
• Win the league championship.
• Compete for CIF and to have success in the playoffs.
• Unite as a team.
• Most importantly, honor God in all that we do.

I am so excited to be here at Linfield and to have the opportunity to come back to my alma mater where I competed on the gridiron. We have a great bunch of student-athletes this year and I’m just so excited that I (and my coaching staff) have the opportunity to coach them–not just in football, but in the issues of life as well.
