This is my fourth year as the HS Cross Country coach.  I am so excited about the great team we have already in place.  I personally am an avid runner.  My degree from Clayton College in Hollistic Nutrition, and I have multiple certifications in Personal Fitness Training and Youth Fitness.

My goal for the team this year is to win our league championship, and to take both teams to the state finals (both the boys and girls team).  I hope to accomplish this by having our seasoned runners come along side our newer team members to encourage them and support them throughout the year.  We will not reach our goals if we don’t work together as a team.

What I enjoy most about coaching here at Linfield is the kids!  I get to coach a great group of student athletes.  Not only do they excel at the meets, but they are also excellent students in the classroom.  This doesn’t surprise me, as success in Cross Country does not come from physical ability alone.  Mental toughness and self motivation are also big factors that determine success in this sport.

Meet the Coach - TOM BEESE
Coach Tom Beese has coached cross country for several years and ran for Perris High School cross country and track teams during his high school years. He also ran cross country for and graduated from Cal Baptist University. This is his second year coaching at Linfield.
