Meet the Coach - DANI SCHULT
This will be my first year as the volleyball coach at Linfield Christian. I am so excited to see what God has in store for our season! Volleyball has been a part of my life for the past eight years, first as a high school player, and then as a member and captain of Emory University’s team. This past season, we won the NCAA DIII National Championship, which was a first for Emory volleyball! Our team was so unique that the NCAA recognized three of us as All-Americans, and five of us as All-Conference selections, including myself. It was truly a remarkable season. Although my playing career is now finished, I look forward to a lifetime of coaching and staying close to the game.

I have been coaching volleyball camps and giving private lessons in San Diego and Atlanta for the past six years. In addition, for the past two years I have coached club teams in Atlanta with Tsunami Volleyball Club. Coaching club is what inspired me to coach volleyball once I graduated. Volleyball is centered on the team, on a group of young women or men working together for common goals. At Emory, my team became my family. It is this type of caring, supportive, and competitive environment that I hope to nurture at Linfield. One of my goals for this season is to create lasting memories both on and off of the courts.

On the court I will push the girls to improve all of the technical parts of their games, especially passing, serving, and defense. I believe that in order to make our volleyball program stand out in the league and region, we need to emphasize technique and hard work! I know that we have the talent to become a major program if we stay dedicated to Christ-like determination, character, and leadership!

I look forward to working with the girls as we strive to meet our goals together!
