CURRENT BUILDING CAMPAIGN
These are exciting days of growth at Linfield Christian School. We are currently in Phase III of a 10 year Master Plan Expansion Program. Our current building phase features a new 39,000 square foot-23 classroom High School building, with state-of-the art classrooms, labs, and technology enhancements.
The Middle School has been moved to the former renovated High School campus (including the 8 new classrooms built last year). Additional Middle School athletic fields have been added along with 4 new outdoor basketball courts. We are also building new locker rooms for both boys and girls.
The Elementary School has added two new Kindergarten classrooms and a large shade sail canopy for outdoor chapels and assemblies. We will continue to outfit our current and new classrooms with the latest in technological advancements to provide our students with the very best learning environment.
In addition to school specific enhancements, we have made some changes that will affect the whole campus. To further insure safety on our campus, a security gate has been installed at the entrance. The gym parking lot has been expanded to handle over 200 visitors. We have also improved our maintenance facilities and added infrastructure (electrical, sewer, walkways, roads, landscaping, etc.) that will allow us to consolidate our utilities into one location.
During this campaign that runs from September 2005-December 2006, we have raised over $2 million dollars towards our beautiful improvements. We still have a few discretionary items (including air conditioning in the gym) that we would like to purchase as the last of the funds come in. So it’s not too late to be involved in all that God is doing here!
Sharing the load
In fund raising circles, there is a theory that 20% of the people give 80% of the money. Conversely, 80% of the people give the other 20% of the funds necessary to complete the project. Obviously, both are necessary, or the project does not get done.
We believe that many hands make for a light load. Like those that have already given, the application here would be that as each person gives proportionately as they are able, the task is easily accomplished because everyone is contributing to some degree. “Not equal gifts, but equal sacrifices.”
We need your help. The legacy we are leaving is not only for your children, but will benefit future generations as well.
