ES SOUNDS OF SILENCE
Sounds of Silence is a supplemental class offered to our elementary students that meets on Thursdays, after school from 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm in room ES 102.
Over the course of eight weeks, students will learn basic sign language skills, increase their awareness of the deaf culture, and gain an understanding that God creates us all uniquely.
There will also be performances which are designed to help the students gain self-confidence that they can carry with them for a lifetime!
The 3 sessions for the 2011-2012 school year are as follows:
Fall: October 11, 18, 25; November 1, 8, 15, 29; and December 6, 2011
Winter: January 24, 31; February 7, 14, 21, 28; and March 6, 13, 2012
Spring: March 27; April 3, 17, 24; May 1, 8, 15, 22, 2012
Additionally, we will have a six week "Sounds of Silence for Beginners" session on Mondays:
Fall: October 17, 24, 31 and November 7, 14, 28, 2011
