About the Program
The Linfield Christian Learning Academy (LCLA) goes beyond the typical homeschool experience and provides you with an opportunity to inspire your child both academically and spiritually in grades TK-4. As the primary educator, you will be equipped with a rigorous curriculum (including creative STEAM-centered projects) along with the support of our Educational Mentors, and your child will be challenged to think critically and apply biblical principles as they engage in the learning process.
On campus days are held at Reliance Church on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Program Director
Alicia Young is now in her 24th year of education. She attended Point Loma Nazarene University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Child Development and her secondary teaching credential in Family Consumer Science. She also has her Master’s in Degree in Education and Technology.
Alicia has not only taught in high school and elementary classrooms, but she has also worked with charter schools and special departments to help at-risk teenagers. In addition, she has experience homeschooling her own children at various stages in their education, and most recently, she has served as the director of a hybrid Christian homeschool program.
Alicia is happily married to her husband of 23 years, and she has four children (ages 12-18). She comes to us with joy and dedication, believing the Lord is opening doors for families all across our state who are looking for alternative opportunities for their children.
