Welcome back! The first day of school (Grades 1-12) is September 1, 2020 (and September 3 for TK/K). Scroll down for up-to-date information and links related to registration and the start of the school year. Keep checking back as more details and documents will be added as they become available.
Remember that we will be adopting new procedures and policies in order to minimize the risk of COVID-19, so please make sure to read Linfield’s 2020-2021 Reopening Guide before the start of the school year!
Please make plans to join us for Elementary Back to School Night on Thursday, August 27. In order to allow for social distancing that evening, our grade level teams are hosting three in-person meetings.
- Each in-person meeting has 12 parent-student spots available. Only the student and one parent may enter the classroom for the meeting.
- If you have multiple elementary students please make arrangements for an additional adult to either supervise your other student outside the classroom or have that adult attend your other student’s meeting simultaneously.
- If you are not comfortable meeting in person or if you have schedule conflicts, you are welcome to sign-up for a Google Meet session on August 28.
- Check your e-mail for links to sign-up for in-person and online meetings!
MS Registration will be held during the week of September 1. Students will receive their textbooks, P.E. clothes, and schedules as part of an orientation process on the first few days of school. Stay tuned for more details coming soon from the MS Office.

Supply lists will be distributed by individual teachers during the first week of school, but don’t forget that you may need to purchase AP textbooks and course consumables. Click here for HS textbook information for 2020-2021.
AP Students: In order to get a bit of a head start, HS AP classes will begin with a couple activities starting the week of August 18. Please note: this will not involve a full class workload, but it will provide an opportunity for teachers to check in with students, to introduce themselves and go over the syllabus, and to work with them on summer assignments. There will be one 1 hour GoogleMeet session for each AP class on August 18 or 19, and students have the option to turn in summer work early and to work with their teacher on revisions. AP teachers will reach out to their students via MyLinfield with instructions and a schedule for their one Google Meet session.
Attention Seniors: Seniors are required to get their yearbook portraits taken by Pictures With Class. They will be on campus on August 5-7. Click here to set up your appointment (Scroll down and click on Linfield Christian School to get to the appointment calendar). Please note: this is the mandatory senior portrait time; this company does not have a separate studio for you to visit on another day, so please make every effort to get your pictures taken on August 5-7.
HS Picture Day: Underclassmen school pictures will be taken on Tuesday, September 1 (the first day of school). You will be able to purchase these pictures, but even if you choose not to, you are still required to have a picture taken at this time for the yearbook and for a student ID card. Students are required to wear uniforms. All seniors will have pictures taken for their student ID cards only.
