Building on the Foundation

The Linfield Christian Middle School curriculum builds upon the core-subject foundation established in the Elementary School with an increased emphasis on logic and critical thinking. Bible, English, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, and History are the core subjects we offer in addition to a full elective and co-curricular program. Elective offerings include leadership, speech and debate, creative writing, life skills, theater arts, CEO, and STEAM. Other enrichment opportunities include educational field trips and assemblies, Band, Choir, Math Olympics, a spelling bee, a geography bee, and sports camps.

The Bible curriculum at the Middle School covers both Old and New Testament themes, as well as the central message of salvation.

  • Beyond the Classroom

We know that not all learning happens in the classroom, so we provide opportunities for our students to get outside, to take trips, and to learn in community.
8th grade students have the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. and the surrounding area as part of the history curriculum; 7th grade students attend a leadership camp, and 6th grade students enjoy activities at Astrocamp.

Serving the World

  • Serving the World

Students participate in a variety of community service opportunities, both locally and globally.
Each year Middle School students serve our local community by participating in a food drive with Community Mission of Hope and making fleece tie blankets for the Rancho Springs Neonatal ICU. They also work with Lambs of Love, praying over stuffed animal lambs and writing notes for kids in hospitals and foster homes. In addition, 8th grade students have an opportunity in December to serve at the Operation Christmas Child warehouse, packing up gift boxes and getting them ready for distribution around the world.
