The annual HS Winter Mountain Retreat is scheduled for January 29-31, 2019! Students and faculty will head up to Pine Summit again this year, a camp which has excellent facilities and has met the growing needs of our high school. For more information, please visit

Some important facts you need to know:

  • ALL LCHS students are required and expected to attend WM. As an extension of our curriculum, students receive Bible credit for their attendance.  We realize, however, that emergencies sometimes arise which may prevent a student from attending (illness, family emergencies, etc.). Consequently, a student must fill out an Excused Absence Request Form and return it to the HS Office in order to be excused from WM. The three days we are gone will count as absences in their second semester attendance total.
  • Please also note that Monday, January 28 and Friday, February 1 are No School Days for High School (only) on the Master Calendar.
  • Charter Buses will transport the students to and from Pine Summit.
  • Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29; please arrive no later than 8:00 a.m. Students will return to school at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 31.

We are going (mostly) digital this year: The following TWO online forms must be submitted AND a physical copy of your medical insurance card must be turned in to the HS Office no later than December 7, 2018.

We are looking forward to the opportunity to spend quality time with our students and to continue to develop relationships with them! Winter Mountain will be awesome, so don’t let your student miss out on all the fun and the chance to get to know God, their friends, classmates, faculty, and administration better.
