February Student of the Month

Congratulations to Noelle Hong, Linfield’s February Student of the Month! Noelle is an exceptional young woman whose kindness, strength, and joyful spirit have made a lasting impact on our community. In her eight years as a Lion, she has consistently distinguished herself as a leader, servant, and scholar who pursues excellence with humility and grace. In fact, Noelle’s Linfield legacy is quite remarkable. She is a four year athlete in Varsity Volleyball (even serving as captain this year) and has played both years of Varsity Beach Volleyball. She has also served as an ASB representative, student ambassador, Link Leader, and Mu Alpha Theta secretary. In addition, Noelle helped start the Active Faith Bible Study, and her heart for service extends beyond our campus as well; not only has she been on multiple trips to the orphanage in Rosarito, Mexico, she also showed the love of Jesus to every person she encountered on the Costa Rica mission trip last spring.

Noelle is a brilliant, hard-working student who maintains an unwavering commitment to excellence, but she is perhaps best known for the strength of her character and her selfless devotion to others, and her favorite memories of Linfield are centered on the relationships she has built. She says, “[At Linfield] I’ve had the blessing of getting to make life-long friends and connections. I have some of the most amazing teachers who not only teach but pull me aside in the halls to pray with me. I am so thankful for the sisterhood and the memories made on the volleyball team (both on the court and in the sand!). In previous years, I also got to see the hand of God move within orphanages in Mexico and on the streets of Costa Rica, and ultimately my favorite opportunities have been drawing closer to the Lord, being shaped to serve wholeheartedly and in humility, and learning to walk in boldness and courage for Jesus.”

Through her intentionality, sweet spirit, and compassionate heart, Noelle shines the light and love of Christ in everything she does, and she is a true blessing to our community. We are so excited to celebrate her this month! She will also be honored by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, city officials, and local sponsors at a special breakfast.
