Wait Pool

Wait Pool Information

Linfield Christian School has been blessed with growing enrollment for the past several years. However, since we value our small class sizes, low student to teacher ratios, and individualized learning opportunities, each grade has a predetermined capacity.

We often have a large number of prospective students, and the number of applicants can exceed the number of seats available in a specific grade level. Therefore, qualified applicants not selected for our first round of admittance will be placed into our wait pool. As spaces become available, we will refer to our wait pool and select students (based on a variety of factors) for admittance.
Please know that seats may become available anytime throughout a school year, but there are seasons to note in the wait pool process:

  • March - Continuous enrollment for current families ends at the end of February. At this time, current families decide if they will remain at Linfield, and after this date has passed, we will know how many seats are available for new applicants. Decisions for the upcoming school year are made by March 15. 
  • June - The first tuition payment for the upcoming school year is due. At this time, additional openings may become available. 
Families can remain in the wait pool until the new academic year begins. If a space has not become available at that time, they can reapply when applications open on October 1.
