Outreach & Missions

Serving the Lord and the World

Linfield students are called not only to learn about the love of Jesus, but to put it in action, and we are committed to providing a variety of opportunities for them to put feet to their faith by serving others in the community and around the world. By meeting the physical needs of others, students are able to demonstrate Christ’s love and participate in His ministry in a meaningful and tangible way.

High School

High School students participate in on-campus service projects (Glory Projects, chapel set up/tear down, campus clean-up and gardening, etc.) designed to teach the value of stewardship, responsibility, and servant leadership. In addition, not only do they have opportunities to partner with organizations like Gifts of Joy and Sole Hope, our high schoolers work together in student-led clubs to meet the needs of local veterans, collect food and donations, and clean up our community.

Finally, we aim to provide cross-cultural mission experiences to equip students to share the gospel with love and purpose. In 2025-2026, one team will travel to Costa Rica to serve with 6:8 Ministries, developing relationships with local families by purchasing/delivering groceries, playing with children, going on prayer walks, and teaching English. In addition, the Chapel Team will head to Belize to serve and teach in local churches and schools, specifically in the area of worship ministry. In future years, we plan to offer even more mission opportunities as we empower high school students to serve the world with humility and compassion.

Middle School

Each year Middle School students serve our local community by participating in a food drive with Community Mission of Hope and making fleece tie blankets for the Rancho Springs Neonatal ICU. They also work with Lambs of Love, praying over stuffed animal lambs and writing notes for kids in hospitals and foster homes. In addition, 8th grade students have an opportunity in December to serve at the Operation Christmas Child warehouse, packing up gift boxes and getting them ready for distribution around the world.

Elementary School

In addition to working with Sole Hope and sponsoring a child through World Vision, Elementary families are invited to pack and pray over Operation Christmas Child gift boxes each year. Students work with their families to fill shoe boxes with school supplies, toys, and other gifts; these boxes are then distributed to impoverished children around the world along with a message of God's love. Last year the Elementary School contributed over 200 boxes!
