Executive Leadership

Marc Horton - Head of School

Marc Horton became Linfield’s Head of School in 2019 after serving as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for the Temecula Valley Unified School District. He has also been a teacher, and as the principal of Great Oak High School, he was singled out as Riverside County’s Principal of the Year in 2016. Marc and his wife, Christie (a kindergarten teacher), have two daughters, Carlie and Bailie, and they have been attending Sunridge Community Church for over twenty years.

"Linfield’s mission harkens back to the original vision set forth by the school’s founder, Ms. Mabel Culter, and seeks to inspire students to know Jesus Christ as Lord, to love others as themselves, and to grow in knowledge and skill in order that they may serve the Lord and change the world through their character and leadership. This is an exciting time to be a part of this community, and I find myself filled with hope and gratitude for the mighty work God continues to accomplish in and through this place, not because of anything we have done but because of who He is."   - Marc Horton
