Executive Leadership

Marc Horton became Linfield’s Head of School in 2019 after serving as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for the Temecula Valley Unified School District. He has also been a teacher, and as the principal of Great Oak High School, he was singled out as Riverside County’s Principal of the Year in 2016. Marc and his wife, Christie (a kindergarten teacher), have two daughters, Carlie and Bailie, and they have been attending Sunridge Community Church for over twenty years. 

"Linfield’s mission harkens back to the original vision set forth by the school’s founder, Ms. Mabel Culter, and seeks to inspire students to know Jesus Christ as Lord, to love others as themselves, and to grow in knowledge and skill in order that they may serve the Lord and change the world through their character and leadership.
