International Program

Part of Something Bigger

Our goal is to prepare our students to become global citizens who will change the world through their character and leadership. As the body of Christ is comprised of peoples “from every tribe, language, people and nation” (Revelation 5:9), we celebrate diversity and embrace students from every country and culture. Our entire community benefits when we broaden global perspectives, develop cultural awareness, and create a passion for all peoples who are created in the image of God.

As a college prep school, Linfield has many beneficial resources - AP courses, great college counselors, and programs like English Shelter. These all helped me to fit into the American classroom. One of my favorite classes was Band. It was a new experience for me and provided the opportunity to grow into leadership as the percussion section leader. I am now attending New York University.

Paul Yun

Seoul, South Korea

I am attending St. George’s University to study Pre-Med, and the Biomedical Science courses I took at Linfield helped to prepare me for the challenging courses I am facing.

Kati Tavcar

Wildeshausen, Germany

I chose to come to Linfield because my family wanted a safe environment for me. Since it is a smaller school, it feels like family. I love how welcoming everyone is, and I appreciate how supportive the teachers are.

Beijing, China

I am crazy about art, and the courses at Linfield helped me discover what I want to do in my future. I used to be shy, but I realized that the more you get involved, the more you get back. I am now attending Pratt Institute in New York City.

I had a lovely homestay family. Linfield chooses the families that really want to welcome and love you. They make you part of their family.

Roos Krijger

Amsterdam, Netherlands

I am not a Christian myself, so I was a little nervous about coming to a Christian school. However, I really like that Linfield does not force anything on you so you can explore it yourself. In Bible class, we had really interesting conversations, and the whole experience was wonderful.

Tam Nguyen

Hanoi, Vietnam

I love my friends at Linfield. They helped with anything that I needed. They are so friendly and welcoming. I had been studying English most of my life in Vietnam. I wanted to take this opportunity to prepare myself to go to an American university in the future.
