International Program

Part of Something Bigger

Our goal is to prepare our students to become global citizens who will change the world through their character and leadership. As the body of Christ is comprised of peoples “from every tribe, language, people and nation” (Revelation 5:9), we celebrate diversity and embrace students from every country and culture. Our entire community benefits when we broaden global perspectives, develop cultural awareness, and create a passion for all peoples who are created in the image of God.

Leo Zeng (China)

When I transferred to Linfield my sophomore year, I could only imagine how difficult the transition would be. However, from my experience, attending Linfield was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. As an International student, I was able to depend on a community that values and respects my culture while I immerse myself in the endless opportunities the school has to offer. I jumped right into varsity sports, clubs, and student organizations. Outside the community, I had the opportunity to serve the orphans and families in need in Mexico and China through outreach mission trips. Inside the classroom, I challenged myself with honors and AP classes that help to better prepare me for American college. Linfield really inspired me to grow in my Christian faith, character, and academic standing.

Mii Dao (Vietnam)

I love Linfield because it is not just a school. Linfield is also a home and a community. Linfield is a place where I can talk about school, work, life, friendship, and faith with the teachers and get advice from them. Linfield is where I can safely talk about my faith and God without being judged. It is where I have met good friends who help and encourage me through every situation. Linfield is joy and love, and that’s why I love Linfield.

Tony Kim (South Korea)

It was definitely Linfield’s atmosphere that helped my conversion. I was originally an atheist and had none of the background knowledge of other religions. However, I was deeply impressed by Christ’s influence on other students. Profoundly inspired, I chose to follow Christ’s words. Linfield deeply changed my cynical worldview, personality, and moral standards into optimistic ones. I love Linfield soooo much!

Charlotte Spielberg (Germany)

My experience at Linfield was amazing. I learned so much about academics, and Linfield welcomes you into their family from day one and supports you in every aspect. The teachers and students are all very encouraging, and you really feel the love of Christ through them.

Sophia Chen (China)

Linfield to me is a family. Here I can see both challenge and opportunity. Teachers here are kind and easy to approach, much like friends. My host parents are responsible and generous; they treat me like I am their daughter. Studying here will be my unforgettable memory.
