Units focus on projects that allow students to design, build, create, or produce various digital media products that can be used on a variety of digital platforms.

    Music
Instrumental and vocal music students gain experience and sharpen performance skills through participation in a variety of high-achieving music ensembles ranging from pop/rock vocal groups, to jazz bands and pit orchestras, to large concert bands and vocal ensembles. In this program, the emphasis is on sight-reading, literature preparation for festival and concert performances, and development of aesthetic and cultural values through comprehensive musicianship. This includes form and analysis, music theory, historical background, and stylistic interpretation.

    Theater Arts
Theater Arts students learn the elements of acting, directing, and stagecraft. They prepare monologues and scenes, develop improvisational skills, and perform one-act plays. As they continue their studies, they may participate in up to four annual Linfield dramatic/musical productions in various capacities as actors, dancers, singers, costumers, makeup artists, set/prop designers, stage crew or technical team members.

    Film
In a world increasingly influenced and driven by visual media, it is important to know how to use the power of the image effectively.
