Congratulations to Everett Romero, Linfield’s March Student of the Month! In his four years at Linfield, he has embraced every opportunity to challenge himself and grow, and he has distinguished himself as a remarkable student and a servant-hearted leader. Everett is brilliant and highly motivated, someone who works hard and who is driven to pursue excellence in everything he does. He has excelled academically while taking on an incredibly rigorous schedule of advanced classes, but his gifts don’t stop there. He is also a talented actor, delighting audiences with his wit and impeccable comedic timing in countless Linfield theatre productions. In addition to competing as a four year track athlete, he faithfully serves our community as a student ambassador, a member of ASB (currently vice-president), and the vice-president of both Mu Alpha Theta and the Science National Honor Society. A fun fact you may not know? Everett also embodied school spirit as Leo the Lion during his freshman/sophomore years!
As he thinks back on his time at Linfield, Everett says, "The thing I love most has been the opportunity to build a community of people that mean so much to me from different aspects of my life. I also love being able to try so many things so I can grow and have so many great experiences."
What truly sets Everett apart is his character. He is genuine and unfailingly kind, someone who leads with strength, humility, and integrity and who consistently looks for ways to serve and build up the people around him. Linfield is a better place because of Everett, and we are so excited to celebrate him this month. He will also be honored by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, city officials, and local sponsors at a special breakfast.
