Enjeh Liu

Class of 2017
After graduating from Linfield in 2017, Enjeh studied at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he earned a degree in International and Area Studies with a second major in Finance. While in college, he was involved with a campus ministry called RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) and was incredibly blessed by the community he found there. Through the highs and lows of everyday college life, he was surrounded by a family that wrestled with tough questions alongside him, challenged him to grow as a leader, and helped him experience the love of Jesus. Enjeh wanted to share this same love with other college students, so after graduating, he moved to Massachusetts to work for RUF at Harvard University! He currently serves as a ministry intern, leading Bible studies, planning groups, organizing outreach events, leading worship, and building relationships with students on campus. He attends City Life Presbyterian Church, and in his free time, he loves playing/watching sports, playing the guitar, and exploring his new home city of Boston.

Not surprisingly, when Enjeh was at Linfield, he took similar opportunities to step outside of his comfort zone. Some of his favorite memories center on the many mission trips he took to Mexico, and he acknowledges that these trips were very influential in shaping his understanding of God and the world: “Through the Mexico trips, God showed me that He is at work everywhere in the world and that His church is united as one, and I was able to build so many relationships with brothers and sisters in Mexico who beautifully reflect God’s image.”

Enjeh is also tremendously grateful for the Christian community he experienced at Linfield. He says, “I’m thankful for all the teachers who not only cared about how we were doing academically but also made a point to care for us spiritually. I was mentored by so many teachers who really reflected the love of Christ! I’m also so thankful for the impact my friends had on me. It was such a blessing to be able to learn from and grow with so many of my classmates. Whether we were messing around, studying, or attending Bible studies, I loved being able to experience the joy of Christ through that community.”
