Linfield Family

Intentionally Relational

One of the hallmarks passed down through nearly nine decades of Linfield's existence is the school's distinctive and vibrant community spirit. For while we value academic excellence and rigor, we also know that there are some things that can not be learned inside a classroom. So we take trips and participate in a variety of fun annual traditions that allow students to develop deep and meaningful relationships with their friends and teachers. We are a school, but we are also a family, an intentionally relational community of people who love, encourage, and celebrate one another, and we have an unbreakable bond because when you're a Lion, you're a Lion for life.

  • Camp Experiences

We invest in retreats and camps that remove students from the distractions of everyday life and allow them to build stronger relationships and regain their focus on Christ. High school students go to Winter Mountain Retreat; 6th grade students attend Astrocamp, and 5th & 7th grade students go to leadership camps.

  • Adventures with Friends

We value activities beyond the classroom for their ability to spark new passions and cultivate friendships, so we provide opportunities for students to enjoy new experiences and adventures. 8th grade students travel to Washington D.C. while 4th graders head to Sacramento, and our younger elementary students head out on a variety of local field trips throughout the year.

  • Authentic Relationships

Because we have been created in the image of a relational God, the experience of living in community and sharing with others is essential. So we intentionally promote respect, kindness, fun, and celebration, and we encourage students to cultivate authentic friendships with their peers and mentor relationships with their teachers and coaches.
