September 2025 Student of the Month

Congratulations to Maya Rivera, Linfield’s September Student of the Month! Maya is an extraordinary young woman who shines brightly with enthusiasm and kindness as she positively impacts our campus each and every day. Not only is she a brilliant, hard-working student who excels academically, she is the executive producer of our school news show (The Den) and serves Linfield faithfully as ASB president. A talented dancer who has competed at the national level, Maya is a valued member of both the Varsity Cheer and Competitive Cheer Teams (and even serves as captain this year), and she notes that one of her favorite Linfield memories is from this past summer’s NCA camp when she was recognized as an All-American cheerleader and received an individual leadership award!

In addition to her many accomplishments over the past four years, Maya is known for the integrity of her character and the beauty of her spirit. She is unfailingly kind, joyful, and encouraging, and she is passionate about growing in Christ and serving others. She takes the initiative and selflessly steps in to help whenever there is a need, and she is deeply intentional in relationships, making sure everyone she encounters feels seen, known, and loved. Maya is truly a blessing to Linfield, and we are so excited to celebrate her this month. She will also be honored by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, city officials, and local sponsors at a special breakfast!
